Rio Kawamoto 在日本地下音樂圈已經打滾了十多年，他為電子音樂貢獻了自己大部分的生命。他有著獨特混音技巧的音樂作品成功打入了許多海外音樂廠牌，使 Rio 奠定了在地下電子音樂圈不容質疑的地位。

這次來台灣的巡演，他將在高雄的 Oto Basho 和台北的 Studio 9 兩地帶給台灣的樂迷們獨特的夜晚！

Rio 出生於橫濱，2007 年左右開始了他的 DJ 生涯。在接觸各種類型的音樂後，他開始沉迷於舞曲，致力於 Techno 和 House 音樂。 2015 年 5 月，他在倫敦的 Sakadat Record 發行了他的第一張 EP “”Lemmings EP””。從那時候起，他的音樂開始在德國、義大利、西班牙和俄羅斯風行。 作為一名 DJ，他不僅在東京舉辦自己的音樂活動，還在韓國、上海的 Elevator Club 和 44KW 以及在越南富國島的 Epizode Festival 上表演。2020年，他從 Teffebu 發行了一張 EP “” Chabu “” ，這家唱片公司由墨西哥著名的廠牌- buffete 經營，這張唱片獲得了 XLR8R 和 Meoko 等國際媒體平台的大力讚揚。 最近，Rio Kawamoto 作為東京的 DJ Crew “”Cowboy Family “”的成員活躍在東京的地下舞台。

Break The Wall will bring the first Japanese artist to Studio 9 on February 11.
Rio Kawamoto has been a part of the Japanese underground scene for more than decade and has contributed a big part of his life to the music. His releases have found their way to several oversea labels and Rio is no doubt one of the artists with unique mixing skills.
In Taiwan he will give his debut with two shows in Kaohsiung at Oto Basho and Studio 9 in Taipei.

Rio is born in Yokohama and started DJing around 2007. After working in a variety of genres, he became devoted to dance music, mainly Techno and House music. In May 2015, he released his first EP “”Lemmings EP”” from Sakadat Record in London.Since then he has released his music mainly on European labels in Germany, Italy, Spain, and Russia.
As a DJ, he is not only throwing his parties in Tokyo, but also performs at Elevator Club and 44KW in Shanghai, Korea, and at Epizode Festival in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, in January 2017. In 2020, he released a 12-inch EP “” Chabu “” from Teffebu, which is run by buffete, a notable Mexican collective. This release was featured in international media platforms such as XLR8R and Meoko. Recently Rio Kawamoto is active in the Tokyo underground scene as a member of Tokyo-based DJ Crew, “Cowboy Family”.”
